Dining Plan Deadline

I found out this morning that the Dining Plan is only available if we are using points at a DVC resort. I just booked 2 garden rooms at the Contemporary for Dec 25-Jan 2 (we have 2 birthdays on the 30th, and kids just asked if we could go for their birthdays this year)... I asked about the DDP and was told it's only part of a package at the regular resorts and can only be added separately at DVC resorts. BUMMER! That means we will have a hefty food bill. Ah well, at least the rooms are paid for.
