dining plan credits on iphone app & CS child/adult question

I found an app for my phone to track the dining credits but its new and has 0 reviews so wondering if anyone has one they have used or if they've tried this one (its from disonadime).

We are a family of 5, DD is 11 so counts as adult for dining so its 3 adults and 2 kids for 8 nights. So am I correct that our credits are 40 snacks, 24 adult TS, 16 Child TS??? Then they only give one option for Quick/Counter service. So that again is 40 correct? (5 people x 8 nights). But I've read the sticky thread and I get confused, LOL! In the same post it will say they don't differentiate between child/adult for CS but you can't use a child credit for an adult meal. So isn't that differentiating??? I'm confused. And this app only gives one total for CS - yet it splits up adult/child TS. So how the heck do I keep track???

You need to keep track yourself. And yes, according to Disney's own literature you are supposed to use child CS credits for child meals, unless the restaurant does not have a child's menu.

All CS meals are entered in the system as just CS meals, not differentiated as adult or child. However, your key card will have printed it on the number of adults and children that are on the plan. So, for example, if you have 3 adults and 2 children, the card will have printed on it 3A, 2C and the cashier will then know that you are entitled to 3 adult and 2 children's meals.

but the pain in the neck part is when you split up and aren't all dining together or one or two of the party aren't eating at that time, etc. I guess I understand the plan - but what I don't get is a way to track it easily so that I know what we have left - hence my question about the iphone app - it seems neat and separates TS for adult and child, just wish it did it for CS as well.

The reason they don't is because Disney doesn't. There are a few places without kids meals so kids can order adult meals. Do your best to keep track, if you can.

But it isn't broken into adult vs. child for CS meals.
