Another quick question, I'm comparing the deluxe & standard dining plans to see which would work better for my husband & I, we currently have the deluxe plan. We are staying 6 nights, that gives us 18 table service credits for 3 meals a day each correct? But if we switched to the standard we would only have 12 credits-6 quick service, 6 table service correct? Thanks!

Well, the best way to look at it is that if you are staying six nights on the deluxe plan, you get three credits per person allocated to each night. But you do not have to use them to purchase three meals a day. You can use them for one or two meals on any day you want. You can use them for 4 meals on a single day if that is what you want and you have enough credits in your account to cover it.

The way to see it is that you will have 18 meal credits per person for your entire trip. For two people, that's 36 total meal credits to use from the moment you check in until midnight AFTER you have checked out. Plus 2 snacks per person per night, so a total of 24 snacks.

On the regular plan for 6 nights you would receive 6 TS, 6 CS and 6 snacks per person, or 12 TS, 12 CS and 12 snacks total.

TDC Nala explained it well.

Also, note that some TS restaurants require 2 credits so you might not necessarily get 18 meals on the DxDP. You can also use the credits on the DxDP for quick service if you want

DxDP also includes appetizer for TS restaurants

At lunch or dinner only - not breakfast. Breakfast includes neither appetizer nor dessert.

Also you could do a signature that claims 2 credits per person.

If it were just DH and I, I would go deluxe with wine. When we are with our DD its the basic 1TS/1QS/1Snack per day.

There used to be a wine add-on for the dining plans, but it was discontinued in 2011.
