We plan on staying at the Poly next September. Usually we do free dining, but we recieved a pin code and choose club level instead. If we added the dining plan, (not deluxe)would this be too much food??

That's a hard question to answer without knowing your eating habits and how much time you plan to spend at the resort. For us (we've done it twice), we found it to be too much food. When we do club level, we like to have breakfast at the club before we head out for the day. We will then either have a late lunch somewhere and hit the evening offerings at the club or we'll have a snack at the park and then dinner somewhere else. Either way, there's no way we could eat 2 meals per day in addition to breakfast at the club level.

You need to think about how many restaurants you want to make reservations for (and keep them, since you don't want to leave dining credits unused). If you want more freedom to decide that you will just hang around the club lounge in the evening instead of going to a restaurant for a full-blown meal, then the dining plan probably wouldn't help much in that instance.

In my signature I have a report of being on club level, deluxe dining and having some meals that weren't covered by either.

Personally for my habits - if we didn't have the extra meals (V&A and a F&W Signature Dinner) it would have been perfect as we could have had breakfast in the lounge, a sit down lunch & a signature dinner (2 TS) each night. I could see it working well with the basic dining plan also if we enjoyed counter service meals.

Thanks for the comments:thumbsup2
I think the dining plan might be too much food for us. Both of my son's eat like birds, the only 2 that would like all that food is DH & DD.
I think we'll just pay oop for the 2 or 3 table service lunches.

We stayed Poly CL this spring with the basic DDP and for us it was too much food. Most notabley, we ended up with a TON of snack credits left on the last day. Much of what we normally use our snack credits for (breakfast items, a dessert treat for the evening etc.) were available in the lounge. We're staying CL in Jan. and opted not to get the dining plan.
