Dining plan child order

We have booked a trip in July that will include dining plan. There are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 15 and 12. At the restaurants, do the kids have to order from the childrens menus or can they order adult entrees? thanks,
 
Your kids are considered Disney adults (Disney child is 3-9 years old), so on your dining plan, it should list 4 adults. You would have paid the adult price for them for the DDP. They will be able to order off the adult menu. I'm not even sure if you'll receive a kid's menu unless you ask for it since everybody in your party is older than 9.
 
yep with your kids ages they are adults as far as dining is concerned, while they are still kids for the resort reservation (i.e. if they are under 18 you do not have to pay the fee for more than 2 adults in the room). Because they are adults on the dining plan they can definitely order adult entrees.
