Dining plan changes since I went last..

My last trip with a huge group was in Nov. 2007. The Dining Plan we had was the 1 snack, QS and TS per day. For one thing, I see now that the Appetizer is not included anymore when you use your TS for the night. Am I right that it is a soda(or the like), Entree and Dessert per person and ages 3-9 get a small appetizer from the childrens menu?
Also, when we were there we were able to use our Snack for a (almost) half gallon of milk at Saratoga in the food court. It was awesome and we used that for breakfast and kept it in our room fridge. We are staying at POR this Sept. and I am wondering if that is still possible...to use the snack for a jug of milk(whatever size it is, just not a small carton for 1 person). I was shocked when I saw they changed the appetizers, but we haven't been for 4 years so any feedback would be great. Thanks so much!

There are now three dining plans.

Quick Service Dining Plan (begun 2009) - 2 CS, 2 snacks per person per night, refillable mug

Regular or Basic Dining Plan - This is the plan you remember, 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per person per night. NO refillable mug. No longer includes appetizers for adults at TS (kids do get appetizers from the kids menu, but they are small) or tips. The dining plans stopped including tips as of January 1, 2008.

Deluxe Dining Plan (begun 2008) 3 meal credits (CS or TS, guest's choice), 2 snacks per person per night. Plus refillable mug. Tips not included. Appetizers ARE included for adults at TS meals. (No appetizers at CS meals, or at breakfast)

Breakfast includes no dessert allotment. As of January 1, 2011 they no longer include a second beverage in lieu of dessert at breakfast.

No. Since January 1, 2008, snack credits can be used only on single serving items. Check the Confirmed Snack sticky thread to find out what may be available in 2011.
