Dining Plan at Whispering Canyon - Our Famous Canyon Skillet

Hello: While eating at Whispering Canyon on the dining plan if you choose the all you can eat skillet meal, do you still get an appetizer and a desert to choose as well?

Just ate there last week and the skillet was delicious!! You do not get to choose an appetizer as a salad is included with the skillet. It is listed as valley greens with apple vinegarette dressing. You do get a dessert though. I would recommend the chocolate cake. It was yummy!!

When we were there in July we got nachos as an appetizer as well as the skillet. We didn't have dessert, far too full!! My brother drank so much juice ( to get the big glass!!) that he was ill on the way back to AKL!!!!

When we were there in October, the waiter told us that if we had not yet decided on our entree (wink, wink), we could order an appetizer. Then, if we decided to order the skillet, oh well, what could he do? (More tips for him ).

So, since you get asked about the appetizer first, go ahead and order it.

I had the skillet in October during the free dining promotion and I was able to order an appitizer and dessert with it. I did not finish anything!

DD ordered the pasta and it was great, I wished I had ordered it instead of the skillet!
