Dining Plan at Narcoosees

Are you able to get anything on the menu at Narcoosees on the dining plan? I know this is a w credit restaurant.

If you are on the deluxe plan you will get an app entree non alcohol drink and dessert. Regular plan you do not get the app. All menu options are available. They do not exclude any items.

The expensive items at Narcoose's are really the only way to get fair value out of 2-credits on the DDP. Remember, when you are eating in 1 credit restaurants -- $25-$30 entrees are not unusual. So $60 for a 2-credit entree really is no better or worse value. But when you get a $35-$40 entree at a 2-credit restaurant, you are losing a lot of value.

What is your problem with me, and what incorrect information did I post? Every statement I made was factually correct. And I wasn't saying anything negative about the dining plan..... I was showing how to get the best value out of the plan, which can indeed be done with the most expensive entrees at Narcoose's.

If you have a disagreement with me, that's all fine. You don't need to attack me, or falsely accuse me of giving out incorrect information. My information has been totally correct.

Much thanks to everyone. We were wanting seafood and have been to Flying Fish and Fultons and are not crazy about either one. Thanks again.

Okay, no fighting please. Please don't go after other posters because you don't agree with their views on the value of the dining plan. Some of our posters see the plan as strictly a method of saving as much money as possible and are only interested in the numbers, and others put value on the plan beyond its cost. All views can be posted as long as nobody breaks board guidelines...

I do believe that to get a reasonable value out of the TS credits, one needs to have entree's north of $20 per credit, preferably at least $25 a credit. One should always look at the dessert and appy options (if this applies) and possibly any specialty drink options as well. As a rule (Narcoosee's is an exception for the 2 higher entree's), Signature options are generally not a good return on investment for the DP options.

we LOVED Narcoossees!!! we got the whole maine lobster and we had that wonderful almond cheesecake!!! i'm so excited cause i made ressies for my parents to eat here one night on our vaca and they can walk out there by the lake and hopefully time it right and see wishes too. i know they will love it!! great restaurant!

Narcoossee's is a favorite for our family including our 5 and 7 year old. In our opinion, the whole lobster is much better than the surf and turf... the almond cheesecake is to die for. I asked my mother if she wanted to try a different place or go back to Narcoosee's and she said she wanted the cheesecake, she didn't care about anything else
