Just wondering if there is a dining plan at DLR. Loved used the dining plan at WDW (especially during free dining) and was hoping there is something similar at DLR?

There are lots of threads in the forum about the plan. It has mixed reviews. Some people like the convenience of pre-paying for food as it eases the budgeting process. I personally don't recommend it unless you are eating everything onsite. That is one of the restrictions and it does not save you any money like the DDP at WDW does. There are some great offsite restaurants that you would otherwise miss. (Mimi's is one.... huge portions, great prices and good food for cheap)!

Not as good as at WDW. Plain and simple.

DLR's plan gives you vouchers for $ amounts (not meals or snacks like WDW's) and you can use the vouchers for meals. And when you use them, you don't get change back. ie: If you were to buy a soda for $2.95 and you paid with 3 $1 vouchers, you wouldn't get your .05 back. If you paid with a $5 voucher, you wouldn't get your 2.05 back. Plus these vouchers are not good at DTD, which is where all the good sit down restaurants are (other than Blue Bayou).
