I know that this has been asked before, but I cannot seem to find it.
We are a party of 4. Considered to be 3 adults and 1 child...(my oldest child is 11, so considered to be an adult on the dining plan). We are not dining with other people, we don't have friends joining us- it's just US.
My youngest DD (9) is not a big eater, my 11 year old and I could EASILY share MOST of the TS or even a CS meal or two.
I KNOW that we cannot share at the obvious places, like an all you can eat or buffet.
I am not trying to be dishonest or 'cheat the system'. We are just not wasteful people. We are there for 7 nights and 8 full days and we'd love to save a few TS credits to use so we can extend them to the last day instead of having nothing left and paying OOP.
There are some restaurants that serve HUGE portions, is it allowed to share them? Can we order 2 meals for 3 adults? We went to Chefs de France last time and ordered the prix fix meal and I was almost FULL after the appetizer! We are on the dining plan again this time around and I remember how much food we couldn't even eat.
Really, what's the difference? If a person gets all that food, can't eat it all- so they share it...it would just be thrown anyways! Yes, I can see the point of Disney not wanting dining plan people to share with non-dining plan people. That makes sense to me.
If we can do that, which restaurants are definitely against this (OTHER THAN the obvious ones where it's endless food/buffet/all you can eat)? Are there some, that YOU know of that will 'probably do it'?
