Dining Plan and Paying OOP for picky eater

We are a family of 5

2 adults
1 Disney adult (11)
2 kids

We have the regular dining plan and are over scheduled for our table service credits. Our 11 year old is very picky and would prefer most items on the kids menu.
My question is can we pay for him OOP on some meals, save the TS credits for our other sit down meals?
We were going to pay OOP for the restaurants we over scheduled, but it would be a greater overall savings if we can pay OOP on some the meals for the picky one.

Yes you can. Just alert your server when you order which are DDP and which are OOP. No problem-o.
