Dining Plan and OOP can I do both?

Hi, I have a couple questions. I am taking my granddaughter (4 years old) to Disney World on Monday. We have the Deluxe Dining plan (mainly for me) My question is. Can we use her table service credits at the Buffets where I would pay out of pocket for mine and use my credits for the Dinners Narcoossees, Boathouse, California Grill and pay out of pocket for her meals. ( She hates to eat meals at night.) No, I am not trying to cheat the system I just want to know if we can do this versus wasting her credits for meals she will not eat. When we were there in Jan as a group of 6, she ate one piece of cheese one night at Artist point. We used 2 TS servcice credits for her without even ordering any food for her. It was my piece of cheese. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's entirely possible to use a combination of meal credits and cash payment at restaurants. However, I cannot imagine spending money on the DxDP and still pay OOP for any food. The DxDP provides an awful lot of food, even with signature dining taking up 2 credits per meal. Just keep careful track of your credits so that you don't end up with a lot of unused credits when your trip is over.

Just remember she is a child. They break it up as Adult and Child For TS meals. You don't want to end up with 5 Child TS and 0 Adult TS.
