dining plan and fantasmic

Hey everybody. I was wondering what restaurants i can eat at if i do the fantasmic and dinner thing, and also if i could use my dining plan tickets for these restaurants.

You can eat at Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, or Hollywood and Vine. I have never been to any of these so I can't give my opinion, but you can look at menus on www.allearsnet.com We are going to do Brown Derby. There have been people who have gotten to use their MYW Dining for the Fantasmic Package, but the CM's who take reservations usually say it is not allowed.

we have eaten at both brown derby and hollywood and vine. we chose H&V for our fantasmic package. both are very good restaurants, just chose H&V for it had been a long time since we had dined there. book your reservation early as there was a wait even w/the PS. however, when you tell the CM you want the package they usually book the early dining time. the package is the only way to go for fantasmic. we did not feel rushed at the restaurant. enjoy!

We also have the dining plan and have been told by CM that you can't use the plan with the FDP. However, I did check some threads a while back and found that some people could use them and some people couldn't. I guess just keep your fingers crossed!

It seems the only place where the dining plan has been accepted with the FDP is H&V. I haven't read anywhere on the boards where it was allowed at MM or BD.

If you book a Fantasmic Package do you pay for it in full at the time of the ressie?

I just called the other day to book the fantasmic package and they just took my credit card number to hold. The CM told me if we did not cancel within 48 hours we would be charged a fee....but now I can't remember how much.
