Dining plan and employee guest

Can an employee use their discount during free dining? Can they eat with you if you are on the plan and they are not?
We are hoping a relative who works at Disney can join us for a few days at the parks but she is not sure which ones. We already have our ADR's for the entire trip for 2 Adults and 1 child;three and 1 infant;One... can we add her if she wants to join us?

yes they can. I have friends (husband and wife) who are both CMs and used their discount while we used DDP. We just asked for two checks at the beginning of the meal.

Last year during free dining I am pretty sure there was a cast discount block out for dining discount, or it was dining after 8:30 p.m. I don't really recall which as we don't use that. But just a heads up to that as with everything Disney -- subject to change. Although IF this happens, I am sure cast will be notified.
