Hi all....

I'm confused about the policy on babies and dining. We are a family of 4 and will be traveling with a 17 month old baby. If I book the trip through the website will it automatically give her a dining plan as well or will it not because she is too young? I'd honestly rather just pay for her or let her eat off of my plate as she eats like a bird, but don't want to break any rules either.....

Thanks in advance!
Jen

You won't be charged anything for the 17 month old since she is considered an infant. She will be able to eat off your plate. When my son was 18 months old, our favorite places to eat with him were the buffets and the family style TS locations. For CS locations, it was a little more difficult since you are essentially splitting an adult combo meal with a toddler. If she doesn't eat much, you won't have any problems sharing with her. My son was a pretty good eater, so sometimes I would get a double burger and pay cash for an extra bun. That way, he got his own hamburger. It was around $1 and I shared my fries and drink with him. And at Casey's, I split my hot dog with him. Of course, that was in 2005 and the dogs at Casey's have shrunk since then. I never bought extra fries or an extra drink for him though. They give you plenty, imo.

Kids under 3 at the start of your stay are not paying for park admission OR the dining plan! They can share off your plate, get their own plate at a TS Buffet, or you can purchase them something off the menu!

We were there with DS on his 1st, 2nd, and soon to be 3rd birthday.

Have a great trip!
