If I am a season pass holder and have a stay booked can I add the dining plan? I keep reading that a magic your way package must be purchased to get the plan which requires a ticket purchase. Since I do not need tickets beacause of having the annual pass can this be done?

You have to buy a package - so some AP holders just get the one day base tickets for the ticket requirement (no matter how long their actual stay is) and then plan to save and use those for credits the next time they get their AP's/other tickets.

But since your DIS name is "DVCmember2" and you might be staying on points, the next info might apply to you :goodvibes :

The only exception to the "must buy with a vacation package" rule is that Disney Vacation Club members and their guests, when staying on "points" at a DVC resort, may purchase the Dining Plan.

Also this from an earlier post by Deb & Bill:

Currently, DVC is allowing guests staying on points to purchase the DDP for all guests staying on the reservation for the length of the stay. You can purchase your tickets anywhere you like, even when you check in if you like. You'll pay for the DDP when you check in. The member who is making the reservation for you needs to add the DDP to the reservation at least 3-5 days before the start of your trip.

If you are staying on points, the people over on the DVC board can help with more info!
