on our next trip we booked several character breakfast that we plan to pay OOP for....because of these breakfasts we will have several CS credits left over so here is my plan

It will be me and DH, DD9, DS7 and DS22months........we planed on giving our older two kids 2 adult CS meals each and then that would give the baby 4 kids meals for the trip

My question is....will they let me order 4 adult meals and a kids meal even though the room key will say 1adult 2kids

the reason it will only say 1adult is that my meals will be on my brothers room because when we 1st booked the trip it was just supposed to be me and my single brother and his DD5 and my 22month old.........he needed me to go with him to help with restrooms etc(or maybe just for some adult company?). My DH then decided he wanted to go as well with our 2 older kids so the room keys will reflect this

I have heard that some CM will only allow the amount of meals that reflect the room key but that sounds wierd to me because you should be able to use them in any order and at any time as long as you have the credits IMO

You will only be able to get 1 meal at a time if that is what the card says. You can not share meals with people who are not registered in your room. That is the reasoning behind only allowing 1 meal at a time. You would not normally go to a counter service as a single person and order 5 meals to eat in one sitting and the dining plan is designed to not be shared.

That makes a lot of sense but I just dont see why I couldnt give our adult meals to the older kids and get the kids meals for the toddler...he is still registered in the room
and besides, how do they know I dont want those extra burgers for a late night snack :rotfl2:

Many CMs have posted on here that they are only allowed to enter as many meals as are listed on your room key. You would only be allowed to order 1 adult and 2 kids meals per transaction. Now you may be able to make several trips through the line to get what you want. I don't know about that, but CMs have posted that they will get in trouble and can even get fired if they try to get around the rules. The rules state they can only let you order what your room key says you have in the room (again 1 adult and 2 kids meals).

Then again I frequently go solo and use the DxDDP. On my last day I usually have 2-3 meal credits left. More than once I've gone to
Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck's Express, or the Boardwalk Bakery, told them it was my last day and I wanted to use up all my meal credits and after they've checked the date on my room key to verify that it is in fact my last day, they have allowed me to get 2 or 3 CS meals at a time.

Probably not.

Doesn't matter why you want them, CMs are supposed to stick with what's on the card.
