Two of my daughters are adults (according to Disney), so they will be getting the adult dining plan. But they are not old enough to drink. If my husband or myself asks for their booze... Will that be a problem?

Thank you!!

ETA - I'm reading whats on the Disney World website.... Do they not offer alc. drinks included with the buffet meals???

I think it depends on the restaurant. At one Disney Springs restaurant a few weeks back our waitress offered us an extra adult beverage charged to my daughters TS credit without us even asking her to do so. I've read on here of others saying they asked and were turned down. Maybe someone else can comment definitively on Disney's policy.

The policy is alcoholic beverages are included with meals for those over 21. From the dining plan pages each meal includes:
  • 1 Nonalcoholic Beverage (or Alcoholic Beverage, for Guests 21 and older)
Beverages:
Guests under 21 years of age can choose one nonalcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one nonalcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single-serving mixed cocktail, beer or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement. A single-serving nonalcoholic beverage includes items such as:

  • Artisanal Milkshakes
  • Fresh Smoothies
  • Premium Hot Chocolate
  • Soda, Coffee or Tea
A single-serving alcoholic beverage includes items such as:

  • Beer or Cider
  • Wine or Sangria
  • Mixed Drinks and Specialty Cocktails
Most beer, wine and mixed drink beverages included, some exceptions apply. Guests 21 and older must present valid ID to be served alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with a Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlement.

Yes it will be a problem especially at TS locations.
At QS locations you'll only need to show one person's ID so it can be done there.

Yup, I've read that. Which is why I was surprised when our waitress asked us if we wanted to use her credit for another Adult Beverage.

Pixie dust. I'd guess the system will allow it without much issue since they're all adult credits, but it isn't officially the policy to allow it so it depends on your server.
