I am traveling with my friend who has paid for the dining plan for herself and her family. However, she does not want to always eat off the adult menu. Would she be able to choose a child's menu item using her adult dining credit? She does not want to pay oop, just use her adult credit.

We are specifically looking at BoG dinner. TIA!

My adult son orders from the childrens menu using his adult credit. He usually gets a large portion. It shouldn't be a problem and we always asked before ordering.

MOST of the time it's fine. But it is up to the server and the manager at the time of visit. Just keep in mind that "No" may be a full sentence in your friends' case.

Since they have paid for the DDP, you may want to gently inform her that each adult TS credit is worth about $40. They may not care that they are paying $40 for a kid's meal, but they might.
