Dining Plan 2012

Hi everyone,

I am in the early stages of planing our next WDW trip (we just got back last week from our wonderful BCV stay). We are due to arrive on 1/19/2012 for 4 nights, which will be after a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream . When I called MS to make my reservation, the CM asked if I wanted to add on the dining plan now or wait until later. I then proceeded to ask her how much it will be in 2012, then after looking it over, she said that I would have to call back and add it later in the year. I was wondering does anyone know when 2012 dining plans will be available for me to purchase? We usually do the DxDP, but with us only going for 4 nights this time, we may just save some money and do the regular DDP. Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

In the past several years, package plans for a calendar year are announced early to mid August, the year before.

No rush, you can add the DDP up to 48 hours before your arrival.

I wonder what changes we will see for 2012?

Thank you everyone for the replies. At least now I know I have a couple of months to figure out which DDP to purchase

Hopefully none, since the last few years the changes have meant taking stuff away from the dining plan (drinks, appetizer, gratuity).
