Dining Package Question..

We will be splitting our stay between POR (5 days) and WL (9 days). I have a MYW 10 day ticket/package at POR. I have 9 day room only at WL. I would like to get the dining package added on but ONLY to our WL stay. (My in-laws are meeting us there). I understand that I must have a "package" at WL in order to get the dining added on. My question is......Can I purchase only 1 day MYW tickets and then add on the dining for our stay at WL ?? I would already have the 10 day tickets that I bought at POR. I can't wait to buy the tickets until I get to WL or we won't have park tickets at POR ! It is too expensive to split the park tickets up into 5 day and 7 day tickets !! ($1,069 for 10 day ....or $1,035 for 7 day AND 1,027 for 5 day) Please, HELP !! How can I get DINING PACKAGE ?????

You CAN get tix for just one day to make a package and add Dining. The tickets and length of stay do not have to match. Enjoy the Dining plan, and let us know what you think of it when you return!

If I bought the one day tickets, would I have to use it right away, or anytime during my time at WL? We will have the 10D with 5 plusses to use before they expire and will have been activated first. So , could we wait and use our 1 day ticket on the last full day? Thanks !!

Wait I thought your dining went with your hotel package. Not your park tickets.

OK,. now you're getting out of my area of expertise!! I don't know for sure, but I think that it doesn't matter when you use the tickets. You could use it whichever day you wanted. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.

I meant the 1 day PARK ticket that I have to buy to get the dining package...does the 1 day PARK ticket have to be used right away??

If I booked a one night stay at POP and bought a 7 day ticket could I get 7 days of dining added?

I'm planning on staying at SoG but thinking maybe a one night stay at POP could save money other ways?

Hi, Savin!

Yes, the Dining is attached to the resort stay... the dining must match the number of nights of the resort stay. BUT, the PARK tickets can be for any number of days. You could get one day up to ten day tickets with the room and Dining package. But you DO have to have tickets on the package to get dining, i.e., you can't add dining to a room only ressie.

No, the dining is tied to the number of hotel nights in the package. So one night at POP with tickets and dining would only give you one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per person for the one night.

You may use your 1 day tickets anytime during your stay....first day, last day or any day in between. It will be coded on your room key and if it is just a 1 day pass it will not allow park hopping (unless you want to pop for the extra $35 for 1 day of hopping, which seems wacky...so account for that when you plan).

We have left over hopper passes with 4 days each left on them and will need 5 days of park admission on our upcoming trip. We wanted the dining plan so I just got 1 day MYW passes for us and added dining for the length of our stay. I asked the travel agent your same question and since she did not know the answer she called Disney while I was there and they told her the 1 day MYW could be used any time within 14 days of our checkin date (they will expire 14 days after the check in date if not used). So technically I could use it a week after we check out if I wanted to!!
