Ok so I am thinking about taking my daughter to Disney for the first time this fall...she will be about 21 months old....

Which restaurants would you recommend and why...she is an absolute angel and we can take her anywhere, so don't let the fact that she is a toddler discourage any suggestions....

Also, would you recommend character meals...she did great with Santa, but was a little scared of the Easter Bunny (mostly cause mommy walked away)...

Thanks so much

If she likes Pooh and friends, definitely get to Crystal Palace. All of the characters come to each table for autographs/visits. Then they give the kids little flags and they all have a parade around the room with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, etc. My boys loved it at 3 and 5 years old. Also, since it is a buffet, your DD eats for free as she is under 3 years old.

Have fun!

If she is a fan of Little Einsteins or JoJo and Goliath, I would recommend the character meal at Hollywood and Vine.

Take a look at the menus and see which restaurants you think you would enjoy and it's Disney, so they are all pretty much kid friendly.

Don't worry about the characters, my DS was scared of Elmo and Big Bird, but when he saw Mickey Mouse, he practically flew over to give him a hug. Disney is really magical.

Some little ones prefer the princesses because they can see their faces. I also think CP with Pooh is very harmless, but the costumes do frighten some kids. I would agree that character buffets are a good idea with toddlers.

Our son is not as much of an angel while eating at restaurants and was like a totally different kid at Disney. He loved Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, Akershus, CRT and Play 'n Dine (breakfast) which all have characters. He also loved Coral Reef, San Angel Inn and Ohana. Each of those have something visual going on that he could be distracted with while we waited for food. Hope that helps some!
