Dining off site

Sorry if this is in the wrong board.

I am staying off site, Sheraton Safari on a solo trip, with a car, and wondered if anyone can suggest places to eat around there. And how far away from the hotel they are. Or maybe a web site that has a map of restaurants near the hotel.

I will be traveling to Universal during that time, so restaurants located between the two places would be great.

And any places that have hush puppies!!. They don't have them up here in Seattle, and I love them!!!

Maybe an AAA guidebook would show you the locations of restaurants near your hotel? I can't remember if the Unofficial Guide has a map of restaurants or not. The only place I remember eating off-site when I was there was a Pizzeria Uno not far from Downtown Disney. Sorry, I'm not a lot of help!

There is an Olive Garden and a Chevy's Mexican right near the Goodings plaza.

We've stayed at the Comfort Inn right down from your hotel. There is a Olive Garden and a Pizza Hut right beside you. Down the road a little bit is a Red Lobster and a TGI Fridays. Taco Bell and I think a Wendys. You are 5 minutes if that from DTD Rainforest Cafe is an excellent place to eat. Our favorite the atmosphere is great. Hope I could help.

Believe it or not, the Dragon Court Buffet which is in the same strip mall as the IHOP (diagonally across the street) is one of the better Chinese buffets in the area.

CiCi pizza is in the Cross Roads shopping center and you have to love any buffet place that will feed you for $3.99 yes $3.99 a person. It was a little busy but we did not have to wait for a table. Food was good. There is a salad bar, several different types of pizza's, and dessert.
