This is our first trip back since 2012 and my family usually leaves it up to me to plan the meals with some input from them. We are getting the dining plan and we are not interested in any two table service restaurants... we are just not willing to give up a meal. So, with that said. Here are some of our choices so far
Epcot: We are trying to eat around the world and the only ones we have left are Nine Dragons (not interested), Via Napoli (leaning toward this one), Tutto Italia (kids haven't eaten here, dh and I have), Teppan Edo (not interested) and Rose and Crown. I think we had decided on Via Napoli and want to know if Rose and Crown is worth it? Also, thought about going back to Biergarten because we loved it.

Magic Kingdom: Girls have requested BOG dinner to try and they are thinking they want to do the Crystal Palace breakfast before opening (this would be the only reason, just to see park again before crowds. We typically don't love breakfast buffets).

We are staying at Port Orleans, which we have done several times and have never eaten there, so thought about doing this our first night there.
So, our thoughts were at this point: Via Napoli, Rose and Crown, Be Our Guest, Crystal Palace and Boatwrights then we still have one more place to try. Any great suggestions and would you leave any of these places off?

I like your choices. We especially are fans of BOG (all meals, but especially dinner) and Crystal Palace (pre-park opening- the breakfast at CP has create your own omelette station which is a nice option).
Not sure if you are only looking for park meals, but Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is excellent. Food for both adventurous and picky eaters. We like to spend a bit of time after our meal watching the animals.
Enjoy your trip!

We have eaten at Boma and enjoyed it. We have been to Disney several times and have been to many of the restaurants, I think that is why it is hard to pick our last ADR. I can't decide if I want to go back to an old favorite like Whispering Canyon, Ohana or 50's Primetime or try a new place at one of the resorts. We have less than a month to decide so plenty of time, but that's why I thought I'd ask for opinions. Thanks!

I just figured out that BOG breakfast is a counter service and if you are lucky you could get a ressie prior to opening, so if we tried this we would have two table service meals to choose. I have been looking and have a few in mind, some we have tried and some we have not. So, if we had two TS meals my choices I think would be between Biergarten, Whispering Canyon, 50's, Coral Reef, Saana, The Wave and have never eaten at a Downtown Disney restaurant but I keep seeing how much people love Raglan Road, is it worth it to venture over there. Any thoughts on those? (we have eaten at the first four at some point over the years)

We like BOG breakfast. I know some folks do nto but it was one of our favorites in August. WE got an 8AM ADR whcih was perfect. WE had our meal exploered the Castle and got to Peter Pan in plenty of time to have a short SB line and still enjoy the queue.

My family loved Sanaa. I was 1900 PF witht eh younger ones, but the rest of our crew really was impressed.

WE also like R & C a lot. We have been booking lunch lately, but dinner is eally fun.

Raglan road is a good plance to have a meal.

Boatwrights is always on our list when we stay at POFQ> good food, service and food!

Via Napoli and Crystal Palace (Breakfast) are two of my favorites. If you've never done Be Our Guest, definitely give it a try! Dinner is good but not one that we "must do" each trip. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was decent - definitely worth seeing. They also do breakfast and lunch as quick service, and they take reservations for those, so you can always try for one of those as well.

R&C is somewhere I have always wanted to try but have never done.

Just throwing out a few that we have done recently and enjoyed: Tusker House breakfast, Boma breakfast, Sanaa at AKL (bread service, YUM), and Ohana dinner is a consistent favorite that we do every time.

The Honey Sesame Chicken is very good. Via Napoli has great pizza! Prefer this over Tutto. Rose N Crown we love for lunch. And Biergarten, yep, you can go wrong :cloud9:

Its been a few yrs since we ate at CP but I like the idea of seeing park empty.

Boatwrights was good best I remember. Great desserts! If you have parkhoppers, and can justify it, Biergarten would be my choice.

Yes, Raglan Road is totally worth going to Disney Springs, and since you are at POR, the boat ride over seals the deal!

My vote is for Raglan Road if you are planning to visit Disney Springs. It is a must for us. The food is delicious....and the bread pudding is to die for. :worship:

Most folks rave about Via Napoli, but I don't. I'll concede that it's probably just me, but if you hail from somewhere famous for pizza like NYC or Chicago, I'd skip it.
I think Tutto Italia is really good and largely underrated. Rose & Crown is nice if you like the menu. I'm not impressed with any of the TS restaurants in MK but if there are reasons to go besides the food (like getting in prior to park opening or the thrill of the ambience in BOG) then they're ok.

We tried 50's for the first time last week and liked it, good comfort food and a fun atmosphere. The pork chop, pot roast and fried chicken were all delicious (avoid the meatloaf). The PB&J milkshake is amazing, tastes just like Reese's Pieces!

You can never go wrong with Raglan Road.

Mama Melrose's since I don't see an ADR for HS. The steak there is a hidden gem IMHO.

I absolutely agree. We book the Fantasmic dining package and I alwasy get the stea. It is delicious. I also enjoy the calimari. My family thought that the calimari at Via napoli was better, but I liked both.
