Dining in WDW last week

Here are some of the places that we dined last week.

ESPN Club - good sandwiches and beer. always a favorite. But I missed Fred Smerlas on Friday night.

Big River Grill - good food and beer is excellent. My son found a piece of a rib bone in his hamburger. No biggie, but we told the waiter and got a 10 % off coupon for next visit which was a few days later.

Sci-Fi Cafe in MGM - cool theming. I had a steak sandwich which was good. Kids got glow-in-the-dark ice cubes.

Columbia House in MK - good fast food. I had chicken and fish combo.

Whispering Canyon - great place. Fun atmosphere. make sure you ask for ketchup. I had the Canyon skillet which is a ton of food (ribs, sausage, pulled pork, chicken) and ate it all!

Spoodles - very good. I have been before and would go again.

Biergarten in Epcot - buffet at lunch is great. Went up 3 times and a liter of Becks dark. I didn't need dinner that night.

Boma - Excellent. It is a buffet that is loaded. We had a bottle of wine (Excelisor from South Africa) that was $30 and it was superb. One of the best wines that I have gotten at a restaurant and $30 is reasonable.

Le Cellier in Epcot - Steak was excellent. Another favorite.

Wolfgang Puck's Cafe - I had a pizza which was very good. DW had a pasta dish that she said was very bland. She was surprised.

We had PS for Boma and WCC. I called about 3 hrs before to make a PS for Le Cellier. There were no PS available for Sci-Fi, but we walked up and they had a table for 4, so we lucked out then.

Was that wine you had at Boma red or white? Don't want to sound ignorant, but I've never heard of it and $30 for a bottle of wine at my favorite Disney restaraunt sounds like a good deal.

The wine at Boma was a red. It was a cab.
