dining in the disney deep freeze-jan 2-9,pics

ribs with a side of coleslaw and beans, the ribs were good but dry, but they were good with the BBQ sauce, the slaw was good and the beans looked too gross to try, my daughter had the kids chicken drumsticks, they were really good! she got a cookie for desert and I had the key lime mouse,i loved this desert, very light and refreshing

as you can see,we had some visitors, but they were welcome, and entertaining

mmmmm...the food looks delicious!! I have to remember to take pictures of our food this year!

this is 3 kinds of hummus with a delish flat bread, it was a white bean hummus,a sundried tomato and an olive hummus, with a side of salad with an apple vinagrette, i could have just had this and been happy, but there were so many things to try so i moved on to

I had a potato/bacon soup so wonderful and creamy, a muligatawny, also delish and a paella soup which was my least favorite of the 3. and then...

here i had falafel with a mustard dressing, i loved the falafel,but the dressing not so much.., roasted chicken amazing chicken, prime rib which i can do without,so i did. fish which i though was salmon,but wasn't, it was good though,fufu, i didn't care for this, couscous, it was good,but i was really full at this point, and a little corn bread muffin that i loved, there was a african BBQ sauce on the plate also that was quite yummy!

boring kid food, but yes, everyone can be happy at Boma!

ahhhh,the good stuff, although i am among the ones who were thoroughly looking forward to trying zebra domes,only to be dissapointed, i found it to be another overhyped item, but the rest of these little goodies were amazing, perfectly ripe fruit, OMG the kenyan coffee tart is to die for, the upside down pineaple cheesecake was creamy with an amazing graham crust and bits of pineapple, a chocolate/cinnamon mouse cake, a mango dome tart and refreshing and a bread pudding with rum sauce YUMMY!

I can't beleive they serve that small amount of Mac cheese to your daughter...I'm sure she was still hungry after that meal.

luckily we are never too hungry when at disney as it is one feast to the next ,but it was funny and we shared our fries with her and had a ghiradelli trip planned for later in the evening, but seriously Sci-Fi, REALLY ???

We were in Disney that same week and went to Boma as well...The hummus was delicious. Great pics!

some mickey waffles with strawberry sauce,DD's favorite thing in the world!

here we have some perfectly cooked asparagus,some baked french toast,this is deceiving,it looks kinda bleh..,but is the most delicious thing! also featured is some breakfast pizza,i liked it here,it had some salsa on it,it was very good,some really crispy bacon(i like it like this) and a flaky,chocolaty bit of heaven,this was perfectly fresh and exactly the way it should be when just coming out of a hot oven.

next starring roles cafe in DHS, there is a story to go along with this,we went in to use up some CS tickets, the kids were crabby and stressing me out, so when we went in,we were the only ones in there and I had a lovely jamaican woman serving me, but the kids were not choosing well,so i stepped out of line to let some of the line up that formed after us go, i told the kids that they could get a PB and J and some chips and a cookie, well noooo, they wanted what mommy was having,and one of the great big gooey deserts in the counter, so i was telling them that only adults can get the turkey,and the big gooey deserts didn't come with, along came the awww,but that's what we want,i don't want another PB and J (can you blame them ?)
so the lady that was serving me said "they can get the same as you,no problem,I see that they are stressing you,no worries,let them pick what they want" so they picked sandwiches like mom,a drink and a gooey dessert.
when i got to the counter,i am sure i am going to have to pay for most of this,so i tell the other lovely jamaican lady at the cash what the other lady told me,becuase it seemed to me she was punching in alot at the counter,she said "no worries,this is just for inventory,go get some chips to add to this" really? so i went and got three bags of chips,3 drinks,3 humongos sammies and 3 extreme deserts for 3 CS meals,incredible! love those ladies!

turkey sandwich, i loved it,it has a pesto sauce in it and some roasted peppers(the kids did not love this,after all that fuss), a butterfinger cupcake which was saved for later and much too sweet for me, it is a cocolate cupcake with white icing in the center,a pile of white icing on top,covered in a thin layer of chocolate and butterfinger sprinkles

my son chose the m&m brownie with his meal,this was so good,also eaten at a later date,fudgy and yummy brownie goodness

Thanks for great updates. We love eating at Cape May breakfast buffet. I have to try Staring roll next trip, I always past by and never look in for some sweets.

What a great review and pics. We were there that same week freezing and having a blast too. You went to a few places I haven't been to so will have to check them out when we go at Thanksgiving. I loved your DS t-shirt with "What is your badness level?" My son would love that!!!
