Dining in the ABC Soap Opera Sets

My sister swears she had lunch on the All My Children set at MGM in 2001. Does anyone know anything about this and/or whether or not you can still do this?

Hi Suebie, and welcome to the DIS! I don't remember there being an AMC set in MGM, maybe your sister is thinking of the ABC Commissary which has lots of pictures of AMC and other ABC soap stars.

She's probably talking about the Super Soap weekend they have each year at MGM. I don't know anything about it, but I'm sure others here can help.

Disney's California Adventure had (probably still has) a resturant set in the sets of ABC soaps. Could she have visited there and got the parks confused? DCA has some of the same attractions as MGM.

Soap Opera Bistro at DCA has been closed for about a year now. It was taken over by Playhouse Disney.......no big loss in my opinion. I ate there once and was less than impressed.
