As I am going with the free dining I was hoping that some of you out there could give me there opinions on any of the Disney restaurants that you have been to (either in a hotel or at the parks) this could include any character meals and the dinner shows and for either lunch or dinner

Having trouble which ones to chose as there are so many.

In the past I have been to

Spoodles
Boma
Wispering Canyon
France in Epcot (on the ground floor) - sorry cannot remember the name

So if you can please help on any others it would be appreciated as I need my travel rep needs to may my reservations asap.

Thanks.

We haven't eaten on site much to be honest so I am probably not going to be much help. However, places we have eaten are:

Raglan Road @ Downtown Disney - Food very nice, atmosphere good.

Plaza @ Magic Kingdom - Reasonably priced for TS in a park (although you're on the free dining plan so that doesn't matter). Nice basic choice of food and nice location opposite the castle.

Crystal Palace @ Magic Kingdom - Had breakfast here last October and it was lovely. The cinnamon puffed french toast is delicious - I would go here again just for this :thumbsup2

Places I have also heard good things about and wanted to try are:

Nine Dragons @ Epcot
Le Cellier @ Epcot
Wolfgang Puck Cafe @ Downtown Disney
California Grill (this is a signature restaurant so would cost 2TS credits)
50s Prime Time Cafe @ MGM (simply because it's supposed to be a lot of fun)

Thanks for that - I am just reading part 2 of your trip report (how strange)

The restaurants we ate at in December on the dinning plan were:

Woolfgang Puck Express (we always eat here at least once and love it)
Le Chef de France (food was very good but service was very rushed)
Crystal Palace - both lunch and breakfast (previous experience of CP we loved but this trip both visits were so disappointing we probably wouldn't go back)
1900 Park Fare (first visit and loved it, would definitely do this again)
Chef Mickeys (again, previous visits we loved, this time very disappointing)
Whispering Canyon (still really enjoy this)
Jiko (food and service were fantastic and would definitely go back - 2 TS credits for this one though)
California Grill (same as Jiko :thumbsup2 )
50s Prime Time (good fun but food a bit hit and miss)
Le Cellier (Mine and DDs food was lovely but DH didn't enjoy his so would try this one again)
Rose and Crown and Hollywood & Vine we visited again and they were both okay nothing to write home about but still worth a try.
Also did Donald's Breakfastaurus and the breakfast at Ohana's and we had a good time at both these and the food was good too.

I'm all hungry now :rotfl:

My favourite on our last trip was Ohana, no doubt about it!

Also liked the Biergarten, good food and good fun.
Wasn't too impressed with the California Grill.

For our next trip we're planning:
Ohana (again)
Chef Mickeys
Narcoossee
Le Cellier
Liberty Tree Tavern
50's Prime Time cafe
Whispering Canyon

and a few others that I still need to make my mind up about...

Ones we have tried and liked.
These have all been evening meals.

Chef Mickey
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree Tavern
1900 Park fare
Cape May Cafe
Spoodles
Flying Fish
Garden Grill
Le Cellier
les chefs de france
l'original alfredo di roma
50's prime time
Hollywood and vine
mama melrose
tony's
and the Mickey Backyard BBQ
Cinderella royal table

At Christmas we went to and enjoyed:-

Crystal Palace (always a favourite)
Chef Mickeys
Le Cellier
Wolfgang Puck
California Grill (great meal & view of fireworks)

- enjoy counter service at Columbian Harbour (MK)

also did the Polynesian Lua - ok but I didn't think really worth the $$

Have a great time picking yours!!!

:goodvibes 50's prime time is good - food not too bad

Boma at AKL is my fave

Whispering Canyon -

We also have DDP for the first time this year and having never really eaten in any Disney restaurants before we are having problems trying to decide on where to eat, there seem to be so many nice restaurants we are spoilt for choice. The only one for me that is a must to re-visit it CP – I love it.:thumbsup2
