So we've been to Disneyland over 50 times (used to be AP holders) but haven't been back since the Star Wars Land was added. We are going in early December for 3 days and have TONS of Disney dollars from our Disney Visa to spend, but can't get any dining ressies at any of the nice sit down places. Believe me, I've tried all the tricks! In case nothing is available even when we get there, what are some new places to try (where we can use a Disney gift card) that we may not have tried--either walk-up places or carts that take Disney gift cards?

Since the Festival of the Holidays is happening, we may buy a Sip and Savor ticket, too. Where do we get those in California Adventure? Thanks!

You can get the Sip and Savor cards at the very first store on the right when you enter DCA (I think it is the camera store) by the lockers or there are various merchandise carts that are near the food booths where you can also get the card. There might be other stores too but those are the ones I know

Thanks so much!

I'm in the same boat, early December visit, couldn't book any sit down restaurants I wanted.

I've never visited during the holidays, can anyone tell me more about Fesitval of Holidays? What are your favorite parts of it? :)

Keep checking, people will cancel reservations and you can pick them up. There is usually a flurry of cancelations starting a few days before the date, and culminating the evening before as people's plans change and they cancel to avoid the no-show penalty.

You may also be able to get walk-up reservations at a number of restaurants.

You can actually use gift cards to mobile order now. It's a bit of a hassle - it's only one per transaction, and it doesn't store the card, so you have to type it in each time. I don't bother if I'm just picking up a snack or something, but I'll take the time if we've ordered a whole $50 meal or something, you know? So that might help you use them up.

Also, as mentioned, you might be able to get a dining reservation when someone cancels or by doing walk-up when you get there.
