Please advise me on the best places to eat in Disneyland. i have heard good things about Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans from a friend. Do you need priority seating for both places?
We will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel for 5 nights but we have 3 day park hoppers. So I need advice for the best places in the parks and outside of the parks. Also which places I need to try to book priority seating.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I like both BB and CO and yes, you need PS for BB definitely, CO is more hit or miss depending on your season. We've been in off times and been seated in about 20-40 minutes, we've also been told there was no seating at all for CO when it's busy in the parks.

Outside the parks you have tons of choices, in DTD and at the Anaheim Garden Walk. Really, just lots of choices, do a quick search on google for Anaheim Garden Walk and give it look. :)

We were there last week. We did Blue Bayou for lunch. It was very good. If your kids like the characters, Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn inside the park was fun and had good food too. For a character meal outside the parks, Goofy's Kitchen right at your hotel would be a great choice. We did dinner there and really enjoyed it. They also do breakfast. We ate at the Carnation Cafe in DL park and the Potato Soup was great. If you want to see menus, they are all listed at allears.net. Just go to the website, then click on Disneyland, then dining, then Disneyland menus.

BB, CO, and Cove Bar. You'll need reservations for BB so call now. Now! NOW! Wouldn't hurt to make reservations for CO but I don't remember ever having to wait more than about 15 minutes for a table. Cove Bar's got good drinks and great "appetizers" that make good meals. Probably the Family Roundup thing but I've never tried it myself. And don't miss the corndog cart. And, if you want burgers, go to Pilot's Taste Grill. They have more choices for the burgers plus a toppings bar.

If you do a google search for "disneyland meus", the top link will list all the disneyland restaurants and menus with prices. (I don't know the etiquette regarding links to competing forums so I'll just point you in their direction.)

I love Blue Bayou and have only gone to Cafe Orleans for breakfast (when they served it) which was just alright. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it for Lunch or Dinner though! The Jazz Kitchen and Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney are pretty good. The Rainforest Cafe is better for the atmosphere than the food.

We love Carnation Cafe for the loaded baked potato soup and Cafe Orleans for the Monte Cristo and Pommes Frites. We eat at both places at least once every trip.

Other places we like are Blue Bayou, Pizza Port for the chicken fusilli pasta, and Rancho Del Zocalo.

PP have all given wonderful recommendations. I'm echoing the recommendation for reservations for the BB. You may need it for CO depending on when you go. The longest wait time we've had was maybe 10 minutes. Definitely try the Pomme Frites there! Soooo good! DH and I also like the Monte Cristo(comes with berry dipping sauce and fresh fruit) and the yummy Mickey Beignets (comes with 2 dipping sauces--berry and something that tastes like melted vanilla bean ice cream to me. lol! very good!) Carnation Cafe on Main Street is a must and I strongly advise getting reservations so you won't have to worry about a wait. The Loaded Baked potato soup and Pot Pies are wonderful. I also liked the Deluxe Cheese sandwich. Be sure to try the Pomegranate Light Lemonade, too. It was very tasty and refreshing. :) In Downtown Disney, I like the beignets at Jazz Kitchen Express. I think the Mickey Beignets are tastier, but I like the Jazz Kitchen ones, too. Be careful if you order Hot Cocoa there, though. It's scalding hot. Even after waiting 30 minutes, still burns the roof of my mouth and tongue. :P
