Hi! Myself and 2 other adults will be in town for a conference on Halloween. We will not have park tickets furing our stay :( because we will be in meetings most of the time. We will however, have tickets to MNSSHP for Halloween night and be staying at the Swan. Any recommendations for when to leave the Swan for the Magic Kingdom for the party, as well as a fun and convenient dining idea would be great. Thanks!

you can get into the MK at 4pm with your ticket.
The party starts at 7 and guest without special event wristbands will be escorted out.
definitely make a point of seeing the parade (the later one is less crowded)..get there early to see the headless horseman at the beginning.
definitely watch the fireworks as well.
The dining is limited during the party times. Even the restaurants that are open are often with limited menus.
Pecos bills has the best selection for quick service during party times. Prior to 7pm all the dining locations should be open and i like cosmic rays for the selection of rotisserie chicken, ribs, salads, burgers, lots of stuff.

If you are looking for something table service, check out the Plaza on main street for sandwiches and ice cream treats. It has that lovely old timey feel and is so cozy and pretty.
I say definitely get into the park as soon as you can though and choose a place to dine in there instead of running around for other places at hotels and such.

Unless you're going to have something like a late TS lunch, I'd stick with counter service.

You are not going to want to use any of your party time eating in a restaurant, and since you can get into the park at 4, you may not want to spend much of that time eating, either. Halloween night is going to be sold out. You may want to get some rides in before the party.

I agree otherwise you could be wasting up to 2 hours of party time in a restaurant.
