It will be just DH and I for our early November DLR trip - we will be celebrating our anniversary. We are going to make preferred seating reservations - were thinking of the Blue Bayou for one meal. We will be staying at GC. Considering Napa Rose, but we don't drink wine. We will be staying in the resort for 4 nights, in the parks for 3 days. We will probably have a sit down meal once a day - I am not a big breakfast fan, but we would consider character meals:) Would love suggestions from DLR veterans!!!

I love Napa Rose! My Mom is not a drinker at all and she very much enjoyed her meal there. It is more about the food, the wine is just a treat for those who also enjoy that.

Other options include Steakhouse 55 which I have not been too. Goofy's Kitchen which is a character buffet, which I enjoyed when we went to dinner there. Catal and Jazz Kitchen at DTD are two of my favorites for dinner, I regularly go to Jazz Kitchen and really enjoy it! A simpler and well priced in park option is WCT, a sit down Italian place in DCA.

Also don't forget Gardenwalk which is nearby to DLR that also has some really nice places to eat. I won't lie I am a huge sucker for Cheesecal Factory (I love the Avocado Egg Rolls :worship:).

Overall there are a lot of nice options depending on what you like to eat.

Did ours with the kids at Steakhouse 55 for our 20th and Napa Rose for our 25th. We also do not drink(wine or anything) even though I would have love to have a martini.

The Blue Bayou is romantic, you should enjoy that. DH and I went to Steakhouse 55 in the DL hotel last year for our anniversary. It was great, best steak I have ever had! Make sure and let them know you are coming in for an anniversary, they'll make a little more of a fuss over you and you might get free dessert!

We went to Steakhouse 55 for our 20th anniversary this summer. We thought about BB but decided for the price the food wouldn't be high quality. We were very happy at SH55. :thumbsup2 LOVED IT! Our meal was very good. The filet mignon was perfect. The salad dressing I had tasted fresh and even the French bread they give you to start was just the right amount of crunch and softness. We even got a special anniverary dessert out waitress brought out for us. We would go back again. We have not been to Napa Rose so can't say how that is.

I've eaten twice at Napa Rose, several times at Blue Bayou, and once at Steakhouse 55--just this past week. I'd say that for a really GOOD meal with romantic ambience, go to Steakhouse 55. They had a nice price-fixed meal (salad, steak, potatoes and dessert) for $35 that was REALLY good.

Napa Rose is a lovely restaurant, but the serving sizes are so small and the atmosphere is almost casual/light elegance. I thought that Steakhouse 55 had a nicer vibe for an anniversary meal.

Definitely book a lunch at the Blue Bayou, too, and ask for a waterside table when you check in. (If you book an early lunch--11:30--you'll have a better chance of getting one; just show up about 15 minutes early to check in and tell them it's your anniversary)
