Dining Experience Question....

We have AP's. In Oct my parents want to take the entire family to WDW. There would be 16 of us. t has to be a budget wise trip. If I buy into the dining experience, I can get the discount for up to 10 people? So, if my DH AND I buy into the plan, can we get the discount for the entire party of 16? How will that work?

PS...although this is a resort question, I'll tack it on.

I can get 3 rooms with my AP. Since DH and I (and the kids) all have AP's can we book all 4 rooms that we'll need for this trip and still get any AP discounts available? Would we just book 2 rooms in each of our names?

To answer the dining question, you and DH both get cards good for up to ten, each. That will cover your party size. The two cards are included in the $50 charge. I'm not certain about the room question, I'd ask the agent you speak with at booking or a Disney specilist TA (I use Sue Ellen at Dreams Unlimited, no cost to you) if you have one. HTH

Hi there, we just got back from WDW with a party of 10 (8 really since 2 were babies). We used DDE 8 times and it really paid off. Since our parties were the same size most of the time we paid for one meal, they paid for the next. Some times the server would split the bill with for us if we were in 2 tables with no problems. Once at 1900 PF the waiter made a point to see our ID and have us also sign the bill since they paid but the card was in our name.

It takes a while to get your card. I ordered mine in early Jan, we got it after we got home in early March. We had to use the email, no problem.

It is dated to expire the end of March 2006, 1 year and 3 months after I ordered it. The card says must be Fla resident and up to 8 people. However it is up to 10 people and AP or FLA resident. They just haven't changed the cards yet.

card has actually been running about 14 months, ordered mine in late Jan it says on the letter it's good till 3/31/06
