dining experience dilema

My family and I are visiting this Oct. We have been to DW many times but have never experienced the Hoop Dee Doo dinner show. My girls (11 and 8, I do have a 6 year old son) would like to re visit the castle for breakfast, but I would like to try something new. If you had to choose, which experience did your family enjoy more. I would hate to sacrifice the breakfast for something that the kids would not enjoy as much. Your opinions would help out a bunch!

The current rumor is that HDDR will be closed Sept 30 - through end of 2012 for refurbishment. I read it in this thread:
