Dining Does Not Show Up In Online Confirmation : This Is Normal

When I checked my resv. online after I booked free dining this morning it doesn't show the dining program anymore. I had it booked before. They have taken the price of it off my resv. They also took my trip insurance off. Has this happened to anyone else?
 
Free dining frequently DOES NOT show up on the online confirmation.

Did you request them to take off insurance?

When I booked my free dining on the 9th, they took off my insurance also, I thought I owed $200.00, and they told me my balance was around $80.00, I asked why the balance was less, and she said the price went down (Disney - price gone down:rotfl: ) I didn't even think about the insurance. Well, the next day I looked and they had taken my insurance off, I just had to call and add it back on, and my balance went back to $200.00- a miracle (haha) I also asked to confirm my free dining, as it is not on website, and it was.
 
Well that is good, I don't really want to call in because I know so many people are trying to get through. How long does it usually take for the hard copies to arrive? I can't remember.
 
The cs said 7-8 days. Mine isn't showing dining either but I know it is there.
 
the CM told me this morning that it won't show free dining but it is there. You will receive a new reservation confirmation in the mail within 7-10 days.
 
We made our first ressie this morning. The hotel, dates and tickets are right, but it doesn't say anything about dining. If you made a new ressie, and didn't modify an old one, is dining showing up for you?
 
:goodvibes Nope, not yet! But I remember it being the same last year too. It took awhile before Free Dining finally showed up online but eventually did. HTH :wizard:
 
I was just going to ask that same thing. I checked my ressie online and it's there but there is no mention of dining...either free or not free...I hope it didn't get messed up.
 
As the title of this thread I merged the other one into says.. This is normal.

Call back if it sets your mind at ease.. but it is normal for your online ressie not to show it.

I called and made reservations last Saturday and received them yesterday, so it took 5 days to receive confirmation (letter) in the mail.
 
Thanks for the info... I had the same concerns. One more question, tho, if someone knows the answer.... My son (1 y/o at the time of vacation) doesn't show up on the reservation confirmation online either. I called back to make sure he was on it, and he was, but I forgot to ask if he is included in the headcount for the Magical Express transportation. I would want to put him in his carseat on the bus. (At least on the Mag.Exp. I know I am not lugging it around on the internal WDW busses.)

By the way....

Your ME confirmation package should arrive in a few days and list all the travellers etc.

If he's not listed on there.. then I'd call the ME number in the confirmation package to confirm he's good to go.

Just to let you know - you will not be able to use a car seat on the Magical Express bus. They will make you stow it with your luggage in the cargo hold below the bus. There are no seatbelts on the bus to strap it in and it then becomes a missile in the event of a crash (so I was told).

As for your son being listed on your Magical Express ressie...I've had it go both ways. One trip, my DD18mths was listed as a passenger, the next trip (2yrs for that trip) she was NOT listed. I didn't realize she wasn't listed until we got to the counter - the CM just gave her a manual ticket or something. Don't remember exactly, but I don't recall it being a big deal - easy fix.
