So I am coming to DL for my birthday on May 29th and 31st! YAY!

I am super excited about all the new stuff (since the last time I was there was 2 weeks before Carsland opened) and I am bringing my parents this time.....

I wanted to do either a dining/dessert for one (or two) of the fun things to celebrate!

I have reserved a PtN package at Wine Country, but besides the Tomorrowland dessert event thing, is there something in DL for fireworks? I saw on an earlier thread that WoC is going to be back this summer as well, if we have a PtN package, would WoC be too much as well? (obviously they would be one for lunch and one for dinner) Or would that even be possible? I feel like we are overloading on packages at DCA and have nothing at DL. I have seen Fantasmic! at WDW multiple times (and its not my fav AT ALL) and then also once at DL. I don't know if I NEED to get a package or even see it this time around.

So many special event packages, so little time!

I also know that since Pixar Fest JUST started, not all of this is straightened out fully, but this WDW vet who is already planning a WDW trip in September (I even booked some restaurants already!) is starting to stress out about these big pieces on our schedule!

WOC is supposed to be down for refurb during your dates, so that is one thing to cross off your list. There are no dining packages for fireworks at DL. The Skyline Lounge in TL is not really for fireworks (yes, there is a fireworks view of sorts -- no view of the castle or projections -- and you could get a similar view for free from the Galactic Grill terrace), and the description says that there is no refund if the fireworks are cancelled (which isn't uncommon at DL due to wind speed and/or direction at higher elevations). So, while the SL is fun, I wouldn't recommend it just to watch fireworks. With the current show, Together Forever, the digital projections are key elements of the show -- and you won't see any of them from the SL. F! at DL is pretty much unanimously considered to be the better version over WDW's show, and this current version debuted last summer. The free FP viewing area has been cut back considerably, so the best viewing areas are the Dining Package FP sections. If you decide to see F!, I would recommend getting a dining package for the best view. If you don't want to see F!, how about doing a special dinner instead? You could reserve seats at the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose. That might be something fun and special to do for your birthday. Or you could book a tour at DL, if something like that interests you.

Great ideas, thanks! I will check to see if any of the Fantasmic! dining packages strike my fancy then....

and I guess that the new fireworks are as popular as HEA at WDW, so we will have to find a good spot for those!
