Dining Decisions

My DH and I will need to make our ADRs soon. So far, we are going to (try) to dine at the following places:

Ohana's
Le Celliar
Whispering Canyon Cafe
California Grill

We are planning to have 5 TS dinners and we need to decide on 1 more place. We would like to have another dinner at a fancy place and are torn between Jiko and Citricos - they both look really good! I figure that some of you may have dined at one of these places (or both) and could possibly help us decide where to go. Thanks!

While both are good, JIKO is so much better. In addition to the food being better, the restaurant and the dining atmosphere are nicer.

IMHO.....

Unless you get a ressie for CG in time for the fireworks AND have a window seat, I would scrap that and go for BOTH Jiko and Citricos.

Kevin and I feel that both Jikos and Citricos food is better than CG.

What CG offers is the fireworks, but less atmosphere and in our honest opinion, less exciting options for food.

DH and I are hoping to get an ADR at CA Grill during Wishes - we saw it here the last time we went and it was totally magical! As a result, DH is insistant that we eat here again (this is the only request he has). If we cannot get a dinner here at the time we want, maybe we will have to change our plans!

I would put Citricos and Jiko at the top of the list and decide on dropping either Ohanas or WCC. Jiko is pretty much a can't miss, and Citricos was an outstanding experience both times DW and I went. If you want WCC, why not work that in as a lunch somewhere - maybe and early lunch on the day you go to CG for Wishes?

I'm glad you decided on California Grill since along with Jiko it is our favorite place to dine at WDW.

Hmmm - so many good places to eat! Thank you all so far for your insight. I wish I could somehow convince my principal to give me an additional day off! That way, I could eat at both Citricos and Jiko. At least I still have a couple days before I have to make ADRs.
