are there any restaurants within the universal complex (hotels included) that DH would need to wear pants? or are they all basically resort casual, shorts and a golf shirt ?

Done Emirils in shorts,a clean pull over and tennis shoes. Also I dont remember taking off my baseball cap the whole time..

All the restruants are resort casual. No need for a three piece siut and tye!!:thumbsup2

Unless you want too dress to impress..

I heard that there is a fancy restaurant at PBR. Is there? What is it called? From the look of it I saw on Travel Channel show with Samantha Brown, it looked like you would want to dress up. Never been there, though. I always go to Tchoup Chop, where you can wear just about anything. The air conditioning seems high there, so you might want to wear sleeves.

Daytime?

Resort casual anyplace is probably fine.

Evening meal?

Might consider pants at BICE Ristorante at PBH, The Palm at HRH, or either Emeril's restaurant. I would have felt under dressed in shorts or sneakers in the evening at any of those places...but I've seen it done.

The dress code for Emeril's is business casual. Just because some people go in shorts it does not mean that it is right or that they look good.

From Emeril's website:

Attire: We recommend business casual attire. However, smart-casual attire is completely acceptable. We ask that the gentleman not wear sleeveless shirts.

Same listing for both Orlando locations.

Couldn't find info for BICE at PBH but the number is (407) 503-1417 if anybody wants to check.

Everything in Citywalk is casual. They expect that the crowds are coming in from the parks, even Emerils, and that they are dressed for the parks. I wouldn't wear a tank in Emerils, but I think a nice pair of shorts and a polo is definitely fine. The only places I would feel out of place in a nice pair of shorts and polo (if I were a man :) ) would be Bice or The Palm.
