Victoria and Alberts was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Yes, it's outrageously expensive, but you get what you pay for here. From the truly personalized service to the amazing food it was worth every penny. If you can afford the cost this is truly an experience worth having and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves food.

I still have the menus with our names on it and the rose they gave to my wife afterwards.

We went a year or so ago, and my daughter-in-law ordered a special water form the water menu. The water was so incredibly bitter and bad-tasting, but she was determined to drink it. I tried to help he out a little, and it was awful. It was kind of funny. What made it even funnier was that each time managed to drink some of the water, one of the waiters would appear to refill her glass. It seemed like the endless bottle. The dinner, however, was fantastic and the service could not be beat. I am surprised they couldn't name the dog who found the truffles - they know everything else!

I have us booked at V&As for our 10th anniversary. Lately I've been a little wishy washy and considering canceling and switching to STK. But your pictures have made me resolute once again. I can't wait to go back!!!

We have done V&A 3 times - twice in the dining room and once in V&A. It is absolutely worth every penny - the attention to detail, the food, wine, service are all unbelievable. Our next go will be the Chef's Table - though it is still in the bucket list planning stage.

Happy Birthday!! Victoria and Alberts is for sure the ideal way to celebrate a special occasion. Our children gifted us with a meal there for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had the wine pairings with our meal and it was an unforgettable experience. The only downside was we are rather lightweights in the alcohol dept., fortunately we had a room right upstairs from the restaurant, or I think we would have needed help finding our way back to our room.

Out of curiosity, how much was the water flight? Did you get a different type of water with each course, like the wine flight?
