Dining at the Polynesian

We'll be down at the world next week and staying at Art of Animation. We're renting a car. We love the Polynesian and want to have lunch at Captain Cook's one afternoon. Are there any restrictions preventing us from going over to eat and shop for a few hours?

If you are taking Disney transportation to get to the Poly there will be no issues. If you’re driving your car however you may not be permitted to park there. Currently Disney is requiring an ADR to park a personal vehicle at a resort.

I'd highly recommend you take the bus over to MK and then catch the bus or boat to the Polynesian.

Yep, sometimes with a quick service mobile order placed the resort guard still won't let you park, it is kind of hit or miss. Take transportation to/from MK like mentioned above or if you're not comfortable using a bus drive to the TTC and walk from there.
