Dining at Sea World question

We are going to Sea World for one day this summer. We are buying our tickets through UT, I saw they offer a dining ticket option. Is it worth it? What type of restaurants can we eat at? I'm not familiar with Sea World at all. TIA :)

You can look at the sticky menu thread to see what each of these places offers. I believe I have all of them in there (just keep in mind menus are always subject to change).

The menu will have some type of an object, I think most use a colored dot, showing if that particular item is eligible for all day dining and if it is an entrée, a side / dessert, or a drink. Some places use a different object, like an anchor or a cactus.

We just returned from our Universal / Sea World trip a couple of weeks ago. We purchased All Day Dining Deal from the Visit Orlando website prior to the trip. Their price was a few dollars less than UT.

We thought it was worth it. My husband and my kid were quite happy with what they could get with the deal. They had a quick breakfast, lunch, dinner and drink/snack in between. The park was open from 9 am to 7 pm that day. They probably wouldn't have snacked that much if we hadn't purchased the All Day Dining.

I didn't get the All Day Dining because I thought I wouldn't eat that much. I just purchased an individual entree as I got hungry.

Just curious, did you end up spending less out of pocket for your meals, beverages, etc. than you would have on the dining ticket?

Well.. I don't drink pop so I just got complementary ice water when I needed beverage.
For food, I got a cuban wrap from Seafire for lunch and a grilled chicken salad from Voyagers for dinner and it ended up being a bit more than $20.

If you want to eat/snack liberally, the dining deal would be a better deal. I had read on this board that you couldn't order the most expensive menu at Voyagers. But when my husband asked, they said he could order anything from the menu so he got the sampler.

Thanks so much for sharing this information! I'm not a huge eater either, but since we have 2 guys that eat like ravenous cavemen, I think this plan for would a money saver for us!
