On my trip to Disney this fall, I've made all my ADR's but am still not sure about my dining plans for the day we are going to MNSSHP. It is a friend and me on this trip (no kids). We are taking the Epcot Segway tour in the morning, and then are planning to take it easy for the rest of the day - pool, DTD etc. to rest up for the party at night.

We are on the meal plan, but was originally planning to just do a cs meal that night as we are using 2 ts credits the day before at the Brown Derby. I've heard that a lot of the food places aren't open at these parties and am now thinking maybe I should make other plans. I was thinking of possibly of making reservations at the Plaza for a reasonable sit down meal and paying off plan for it. Anyone who's been to MNSSHP have any thoughts or suggestions of what to do for dinner that night? I'm planning on dressing up for the party so I want to go somewhere where this will be okay during dinner for an adult as well! :)

We have ADR's for Crystal Palace @ 5:15pm on the night of our MNSSHP.
A lot make them for LTT I believe, I wanted to, but they had no openings open.

Oct 11 Crystal Palace and Oct 12 Tonys

both times are around 4:45. We prefer to eat a big dinner before the party, plus that way no one is stuffing themself full of candy.

If you get there around 4-5pm the CS places will be open. The Plaza is a nice place that will only cost slightly more than CS. We've eaten there before MNSSHP and MVMCP and prefer it to the time we ate at LTT before our first MNSSHP.

Just FYI - if you haven't already make ADR's you should do it as soon as you can, alot of the times around MNSSHP are booked for TS. We have ADR's for Kona (really good food), and seems to be easy to get ARD's for. I would bet that CP and LTT are both booked, not sure about the Plaza

We also ate at Peco' Bills - around 5 before MNSSHP - they are open until around 7 if I remember right...You could try that.

The last 4 parties we went to we ate at CP for the last seating before they closed and it was wonderful!

I tried to make my ressie for 10/16 earlier in the day and there were no times open so act quick to get what you want.
We currently have 5:30 at LTT

do yourself a favor and eat early enough to get to the park in plenty of time (if you are going to eat out of the park). When we went last year we thought we would just grab something while in the park ( we were thinking pecos bills or someplace) well it was croweded and they had started setting up for the parade which made it hard to get there. we ended up buying popcorn for the kids while the parade was going on and then getting a hot dog at casey's later on, that was ok but we ended up missing the villian show.

Thanks for the tips. I think I'm just going to go ahead and try to get an ADR. I can always cancel it later if I don't think we want a ts meal.

Hi! We are doing CP at 5 pm ...or is it 4 pm? I need to check my notes! We did that last year and it worked out really well. I am like twoeyy...I like a big ole meal and then we walk it off.

I just wanted to say, enjoy the Segway Tour! DH and I did it in May on our child free anniversary trip. Dh was skeptical and wondering if it was worth the $$. I don't know why he doubts me...doesn't he know I have the power of the DISboards on my side?:disrocks: Now he wants to do it again!
