Dining at MK on GD Saturday

I generally find the restaurants inside the Magic Kingdom less than appealing, so I made us dinner reservations at Narcoosee's for GayDays Saturday. I've since been told Narcoosee's has a "business casual" dress code. Can anyone confirm that? Will they refuse to seat us in our red GayDays t-shirts? If so, can anyone recommend an alternative?

I don't think they are hard core on the dress code unless you are shirtless and in swim trunks.

Correct. No swim trunks, cut-offs, or tank-tops allowed. I don't think they'll let you in with flip-flops either.

One of my favorite places to eat in the MK is The Plaza.

I had been told collared shirts and dressy shorts; good to know they've relaxed the rules.

Polo shirts and dressy shorts IS the rule, but they tend to not argue the point. They understand that people are going to be coming in from the parks.

You can always bring a couple of collared shirts and keep them in a locker. Grab them on your way to the monorail, pop into the restroom at the GF to change. I do make DH and DS wear collared shirts to all of our signature ADRs, but we go back to the room every afternoon so it's not a pain to change.

Or in the backpack... I always carry one with a couple of frozen bottles of water, the spare camera card and battery... Good idea; thanks! (I hate going back to the hotel, so we probably won't.)

It's a semi casual seafood place. I never ate there because I don't like seafood but I find that Gasperella's which is within 300 feet of that place is open 24/7. It has a good selection of good food, wine, beer, it's quick serve but a great view of the castle outside. You should pass it on the way there.

Great suggestion (or reminder, as the case may be)! I actually own a collared red Polynesian Resort shirt, which I thought would be fun to wear for dinner at 'Ohana that night. Perhaps I'll stash it in a locker for the day and change from a red t-shirt.
