Do you need to make reservations at epcot for any dining (countries), do they need to be PS. There will be 8 of us, three kids. We have not been to epcot and years and never with the kids, and have no idea about the dining there.

Any recommendations, tips, resturants to avoid/do.

thanks!

This is a popular question on this board. Some people will tell you eating without an AR (advance reservation, the new name for PS) is virtually impossible, others will tell you they are not needed.

With a group of that size, I think ARs are definitely in order. You should also consider whether you're willing to sit at 2 tables for 4, that might get you seated faster.

I will tell you that virtually every restaurant has a children's menu, so you don't have to base your decisions on where the chicken fingers are (hey, I've done it at other places...).

I suggest you go to allears.net and check out the dining section. The menus for all Disney restaurants -- parks, resorts and DTD-- are listed there. This will give you an idea of what is available.

Bon Appetit!
