How do I go about figuring out where to eat? I am goin to Disney world in late November

Thats a very open question, firstly what do you want to eat. Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner?
Do you have kids?
What sort of food do you like?
Have you looked on my Disney Experience all the restaurants are on there with full menus.
But im sure if you elaborate a bit more people will offer you ideas :)

No kids it's just me going. I am a single guy I plan on eating breakfast and dinner. Bbq, Italian, Mexican

I never eat Mexican at Disney since we have really good Mexican where I live, it's not worth it. For Italian in park, apparently Tony's has turned around. Enzo's Hideaway at Springs would be another safe bet. Polite Pig at Springs is always a safe choice for BBQ.

There's lots of good places to eat if you branch out from those three categories. Start on the Disney site and the list of restaurants, pick something that interests you and start watching Youtube reviews.

definitely Flame Tree BBQ, Ive booked San Angel Inn this time ive not been but everyone seems to enjoy it or Le Hacienda De San Angel both at Epcot. Not tried any of the Italians we have Tutto Italia booked mainly as we have kids but believe Il Mulino is very good.

Via Napoli is on my list also

So many choices. If you plan on eating out three meals a day during your time there, you can definitely scratch a few off the list. Don't go too crazy/overthinking the meals.

We like to try a new restaurant for each visit. We have many repeats of course. Look at the restaurants menus in each park, resort and DS. Decide if you want to eat at whichever park you are at or want to stop what you are doing, take a break and try a meal at a resort, etc.

Your first trip? Enjoy. Come back and tell us your thoughts. We will be there too in November!

First week of November. We average two trips a year (DVC Members 20 plus years). My son, dil, grandson and my dd and SIL will be with us too. My dd will be celebrating her two year wedding anniversary - never made their 1st in Disney because of COVID. They met (both College Program), engaged and married in Disney. Yes, Disney family here :)

If you like barbecue, I've also heard good things about Regal Eagle in Epcot! We haven't been there yet but are hoping to try it this trip!

Also keep an eye out for information about the festival booth offerings at Epcot during your trip. The Dis does a great job with their review videos. Depending on when you go they'll either still have Food & Wine going on or they'll have switched over to the Festival of the Holidays. We always make a day of eating around the world at the different booths!

Hopefully things will mostly be open by then. I am still waiting for some of my favorites like Boma (African buffet) at AKL and Sassagoula Floatworks (counter service but love the shrimp and grits) at POFQ to open up...

For ideas, flip through the Food Pictures thread(s) and see what looks interesting (some of the festival offerings will change but the restaurant food pics might give you some ideas:

Flip through the menus to see what looks good to you and fits your price range:

Watch videos (I love the DFB) to get some ideas:

Are you aware of the requirements around restaurants currently? They may change by November, but right now you need dining reservations for all "regular" restaurants (i.e. table service). If you are staying in a Disney resort, you can start making those reservations 60 days before you check in. And most of the fast food restaurants (i.e. quick or counter service) are strongly encouraging mobile order. This is a great site for you to keep up to date and learn more about how to gain access to food while on your trip!
