Our family is heading to WDW for christmas...and I am hoping for recommendations on where is the best place to have christmas dinner?

Ages of person travelling in your party?

What kind of food do you like?

If you aren't concerned with budget, I'd go with CA Grill. The view of the MK can't be beat (and to me is very Christmas-y), the food is good and varied plus there is a nice wine list. Although "nicer," it is still family friendly and you won't find yourself to be the only people with kids (especially at Christmas).

For a fun atmosphere, I'd choose Liberty Tree Tavern or 1900 Park Fare. LTT's characters dress for the occasion, & the restaurant is homey to me. Unfortunately, it's in Magic Kingdom, which will most likely be a madhouse that day. 1900 PF is a character meal in Grand Floridian, which is beautiful at Christmas.

For better food, I'd choose Flying Fish at Boardwalk Inn, or Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. If you eat at FF, make sure to tour all the Epcot resorts to enjoy the holiday decorations. WL is also beautiful for the holidays & AP is a great restaurant.

In other words, I'd try to choose a place or location that's Christmassy.

I would hesitate making dinner adrs inside the Mk unless you plan on being in that park all day.If they do a closing due to capacity , they will not let you in , even for adrs.I like Cal. grill, 1900 park fare, Chef Mickeys

For holiday dinners w/family, I really enjoy the places that serve things "family style". It reminds me of actually being at home for the holidays around the table with my family. I like it better than everyone ordering their own menu items. :goodvibes I'm a little traditional!

For that, I love Liberty Tree Tavern in MK as another poster said or The Garden Grille in Epcot. You would need ADR's for either of those places since they're both character dinners & book up quickly. :)

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner last year @Artist's Point (Wilderness Lodge!) We love the atmosphere and the food is delicious!
:santa:
