We usually stay at Pop, but are considering Caribbean Beach this next trip. My question, and it may seem silly, (but not to my six year old) is in the Market Street Food Court is the childs breakfast searved in a plastic Mickey Plate or do they use 'real' plates?:disrocks:

I believe that I saw the kids breakfasts in the mickey shaped plastic plates. We ate there on Tuesday.

When we were at CBR in April, all of the kids meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) were served in the Mickey plates.

just a note, the CBR food court is not like POP's... we found it to be quite lacking after loving the food court at POP... the grab 'n go was quite limited, some of the stations were only open certain hours (couldn't get a salad at 3pm!), there were more stations w/less variety, so we had to stand in line for every different meal... after loving the food court at POP, we were very disappointed w/CBRs... now, POR's food court... that's the bomb! ;)

I'm just curious, why was POR's so good. I am torn, thinking maybe trying something different, but we love the POP so much, I'm afraid to spend more and not loving it more. I was thinking maybe to stay at POP but eat at CBR and try out their pools. Would you say POR is your first choice?

POR has more and better choices... pick your own pasta and sauce... create your own salad... a carving station... it's also the most recently refurbished/upgraded and it's just "nicer!"

I have not experienced Pop, but really liked CBR's food court. I found the choices there pretty broad:

We did get a salad at the Pasta station near 3pm on our arrival day. Both the Pasta and burger stations were open around that time.
Grab & Go had lots too: salads, sushi, fruit, fresh bakery items, novelty ice cream, fruit and cheese platters, yogurt, Uncrustables, cereal, etc.

The stations do indeed open for dinner around 5pm, so at 3pm some stations are closed. The food court was open late 11pm or later and we were able to grab some drinks/snacks after returning from the park.

Breakfast was great, wide variety of hot items, plenty of seating; indoor and outdoor, did not feel crowded even when it was busy.

We also found the CM's there very well versed in the rules of the DP. We were told no on a few items, but those were all fair on the DP. One helped us choose a pizza combo meal vs just a pizza meal. Another helped us use up a few remaining CS credits in the Grab & Go area just before we were leaving on ME.

I'd have no qualms staying at CBR again or eating in the food court.
