Dining at Ariels Grotto--sit inside or Outside?

We will be dining at Ariels Grotto with a WOC package. Wondering
where do you prefer sitting inside or outside? does anyone have
pictures? Do we get a choice of where would would prefer to sit?

We've done both, we tend to get outside if we don't have a reservation. Both are nice but for the full experience sit inside. The princesses come around to every table, inside or out but the inside decor is pretty cool and you don't get that if you're outside. Sometimes the cost is different if you sit outside tho so you might want to check into that if it's important to you.

Also consider what time of year and what time of day you will be dining; when we were there in November, it was so cold and windy that being outside was miserable, even with the huge heaters. If the weather is nice, sitting outside has its own benefits. Of course, sometimes you don't have a choice, but as with everything it is worth letting the CMs know your preference.

I made a reservation for my DD 4th birthday and chose outside. I asked what would happen if the weather was inclement. I was told by the CM that everyone would be moved inside. Not so. We showed up on a day pouring rain and could not be accommodated inside and was basically told "too bad, so sad". My DD was crushed and we wound up agreeing to a reservation inside the following day at an awkward time. Since DD had basically destroyed her princess dress in the rain the first day I also got to purchase another dress to make the entire situation right again. I will never make an outside reservation again.

We have done outside seating at AG for WOC three times during the warmer, non-rainy summer months. It was wonderful every time.
