Hi All! We've just confirmed our booking on the Dream 4/3 4 night sailing. Because we are so late we've been given the second seating for dining and the 5pm show. We are traveling with a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. I was thinking we'll probably end up taking the girls to the 5pm show and then feeding them somewhere. There are other options right?

I was trying to reserve some nursery time my youngest. I'm not sure she's actually going to like the nursery but I have to try. Should I reserve some nursery time for the 2 yr old in the evening so we could attend the second seating and enjoy dinner or do you think it's better to reserve nursery time for an afternoon break/nap? Does the nursery usually fill up?

This will be our first Disney cruise so I'm not sure the kids will actually nap during the day so they may be exhausted by 8pm. Then again so might we!

Yes, there's other places to eat, including room service! :D

We took DD (almost 2yrs) to Flounder's for the open house on embarkation day and she CRIED when we made her leave after just a few minutes. We'd pre-booked hours on the next sea day for her usual naptime and some playtime afterwards. The CMs had her fast asleep within fifteen minutes after dropoff (no easy feat in a room full of brand new toys!) and when she woke up she had a great time with the other kids. I really suggest prebooking nursery hours for naptime so you're not tied to your stateroom.

Hi!! I'm also traveling with a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old with a late seating on the Dream. My plan is to give the kids a nap late afternoon, feed them and then if I think the 2 yr old can sit through the show I'll take him, otherwise I am hoping to send them both to the nursery during our dinner and show. We also have a 14 yr old and a 13 yr old so this is the best compromise.

So great to know I'm not the only one with a 2 yr old doing the late seating. My husband thinks I am crazy for planning this trip but he's never cruised before. I don't think I can pre-book nursery time for dinner and an afternoon nap. Which do you think is most likely to fill up?

Are either of you doing anything at Nassau? I was looking at a room at the comfort suites to do the waterpark but it's so expensive. I'm not sure it's worth it with a 4yr and 2 yr old but I wanted to give the 2 yr old some pool time since she won't be able to swim on the ship.

I know what you mean about husbands thinking we are crazy, mine does as well but I think he'll find it's going to be great!! I'm going to aggressivly potty train my two year old this summer!! He turned 2 last week. My goal is to have him trained so that he can use the pools. I know he'll LOVE the splash zones on the ship and Castaway so if I'm not successful at least he'll have that. Also at Castaway he will love the beach. In Nassau we are thinking about doing the dolphin excursion at Blue Lagoon with the older kids and putting the babies in the nursery. If we weren't doing that I would probably go to the Atlantis excursion that gives access to both the beach and pools. We've stayed at the Atlantis and it's pretty awesome for both kids and adults. The ocean is just so beautiful!

I would probably book the nursery for dinners. My 2 yr old hates to eat so this is a no brainer for me. We have a bunch of people going as well so someone will probably be willing to do nap time in a cabin.
