Dining and Disney gift cards

Do all restaurants take Disney gift cards for payment? We currently have reservations at Rainforest Cafe, Carnation Cafe & Minnie & Friends character breakfast. Thank you!

Only Disney restaurants take Disney gift cards. In your list, Rainforest Cafe does not take Disney gift cards.

Ghiradelli in DCA won't! Learned that the hard way... I had Disney GCs to use up and wasn't about to pay cash for the $60 in ice cream sundaes we ordered... so we had to cancel the purchase and head to Clarabelle's.

Right, Ghiradelli isn't a Disney location. Crystal Arts and the perfume place in NOS are 2 other locations that are leased and don't accept gift cards. The ODV carts do accept gift cards.

A few of the carts take them. There are some carts that only accept cash.

As far as I've experienced, baring technical difficulties (which do happen), the churro and popcorn carts have all taken Disney Gift Cards. The walk around vendors (like the ones selling drinks or snacks in attraction lines or inside the Hyperion Theater) and balloon sellers are cash only. I would always carrying some cash with me because the system can go down.

At all Disney owned and operated merchants in the parks and at the three resort hotels, if they accept credit cards they also accept Disney gift cards and resort room charges.

Most of the in park carts now take credit cards...typically only the wandering vendors are cash only.

In DTD only World of Disney and A&E Boutique are Disney stores (maybe one or two more?)...all the rest of the stores, resturants and vendors are outside companies. While they do not take the gift cards, many DO offer AP discounts.

In DTD only World of Disney and A&E Boutique are Disney stores (maybe one or two more?)...all the rest of the stores, resturants and vendors are outside companies. While they do not take the gift cards, many DO offer AP discounts.

Also D-Street, Disney's Pin Trader's, Wonderground, and Marceline's in DtD are Disney-owned and take Disney gift cards.
